Final 6 days
Sitting here realizing this is our final quite weekend. Soon there will be crying, laughing, pooping, burping, puking, late nights, early mornings, no sleep, crankiness, sickness, laughter, swaddling, cuddling, throw-ups, feedings, pee, and more poop filled diapers.
Though this may be the case, I am totally excited to have a son coming to this world. Friends tell me it’s the most amazing thing to ever happen, it will change your life. Honestly, right now it hasn’t hit me, I am sure that on Thursday, Jan 28th at 1:00 p.m. I will realize that my life has been turned upside down by this little guy.
Since my last post, Amy had one last ultrasound, hoping that there was a small chance that the placenta had move and she would be able to have a natural birth. Unfortunately, it had not moved and had actually moved the opposite way covering the entire cervix. It is official that the c-section will be performed.
The ultrasound also confirmed that he is packed in her stomach like a sardine, projecting his current weight at 7.5 lbs. Probably all legs. Stomach is full and ready to destroy his 1st diaper, must take after his dad.
If I don’t have a chance to post by Thursday, I’ll see you on the other side.
